Rival Bones Record their new EP at Parr Street Studio, Liverpool and FOTF were there to catch all the action

RIVAL BONES recording 4 new tracks with Tony Draper.

Just before the end of 2016, Liverpool 2 piece, Rival Bones, allowed me into Parr Street Recording Studios in Liverpool, for a few days, to watch and photograph them record their forthcoming EP.

Rival Bones consist of James Whitehouse, guitar and vocals and Chris Thomason on drums. Based in Liverpool and making their debut back in 2015 with the release of ‘You Know Who You Are’ RIVAL BONES began to receive airplay from BBC Introducing, Planet Rock, Team Rock and Real Rock Radio. Followed up by ‘Robot Girl’ and ‘Lost Along The Way’ in 2016, RIVAL BONES have began to establish themselves as one of the hottest rock bands to emerge from the North West in the last decade.

Playing storming shows at the O2 Academy in Liverpool, The Kazimier, The Arts Club and a headline gig for “ BBC Introducing ” at The Cavern in 2016, RIVAL BONES are a real force to be reckoned with. Having caught a couple of blistering gigs, I was really looking forwards to watching them create their new ep.

Engineered by the amazing Tony Draper, the four tracks are a fabulous achievement, how two guys can make so much noise is unreal. The tracks , Want You Madly, Marceline, Hives and Running will be released in 2017.

Rival Bones will still be touring so you have a chance to catch them at Maguires, Liverpool on February 11th, Proud, Camden on February 18th and Riffolution Festival, Manchester Rebellion Bar on March 25th.
