The raunchy new single is released on 22nd February

The One Hundred Club are a pretty new band, with only 2 tracks released, however, with the upcoming release of their 3rd track ‘Commit To Exist’, things are sounding promising for the Stockport/Manchester based rock band.

The song opens with a distorted, driven riff that even some of rocks greatest guitarists would be proud of creating, as the song builds, the guitar doubles and adopts a scratchy overdriven tone as the vocals come in, and that’s when the song really comes into it’s own. The vocals for this track are truly incredible, and his voice is perfect for the type of music this band are producing.

It’s a few minutes into the song before you get to hear the backing vocals properly, but it is definitely worth the wait, because the harmonies between the main, male vocals and the accompanying female backing are really good, especially for a band who are only in their third year of making music.

I definitely think that this band are going to go places if they do things right, because 3 songs into their career and they are producing music of this quality means they can only continue to get stronger. Try to catch them at one of their upcoming dates:

  • Leeds Venue Bar: 15th February
  • Hyde Pop Bar: 23rd March

The single was recorded in September 2018 at Steel City Studios in Sheffield, where the likes of Bring Me The Horizon, Deaf Havana and All Time Low have recorded in the past. It will be available on all major streaming platforms, so give it a listen when it’s out.
