We have a big soft spot for 2000Trees. Who we kidding … we love 2000Trees … even before their latest awesome line up announcement? Plus the latest wave of bands includes the final main stage headliner.

Joining Frank Turner on Thursday, You Me At Six on Friday will be Deaf Havana on the Saturday. Tom Ogden, Deaf Havana drummer explained why this festival will be extra special for him “Personally I’m so excited to headline 2000trees Festival. Last time Deaf Havana headlined my daughter was born, so I didn’t make it! It’s the only show I’ve ever missed, so I’m so thankful that we’ve been asked back!”

One of our favorite bands from over the Atlantic, Can’t Swim, will be bringing their alt-punk to the Cotswold’s for the first time. It seems like they are just as excited for 2000Trees as us “Ever since we started the band, England has been a second home to us. Ever since we started the band, we’ve wanted to be at 2000trees. Seeing the line-up for this year has me even more excited to be a part of the festival. Very much looking forward to it.”

The range of incredible bands and artists making their 2000trees debut this year include: Irish-American seven-piece Celtic punk band Flogging Molly. There is also a breath stealing list of the UK’s rock and heavy bands including Blood Youth, Palm Reader, Conjurer, Cold Years and some perfectly impassioned post-hardcore from Holding Absence. The Cardiff five piece are releasing their self-titled debut album through SharpTone Records on March 8 as well as heading off on a UK tour before 2000Trees rolls around.

James Scarlett 2000trees Festival main man also has a few more names of note too. “I may be bigging myself up a bit here, but it’s definitely the best line up we’ve ever had at Trees in terms of strength in depth. There is so much amazing music! My picks from this announcement are A.A.Williams, ANGEL DU$T and the utterly bonkers PENGSHUi. Check them all out!”
