ArcTanGent is the award winning ultimate greenfield music festival: delivering a line-up you won’t find anywhere else on Earth.  Having built a reputation for itself as the emerging UK rock festival. Delivering exclusive performances from exceptional, worldwide artists as well as supporting new and exciting talent. Fully independent and organically growing year on year. ArcTanGent is one special festival.

ArcTanGent is hosted on Fernhill Farm, Compton Martin, a short drive from Bristol city centre. Taking place from Thursday 15 August through to Saturday 17 August 2019. Plus they have already announced sixty acts celebrating talent from fourteen countries outside of the UK including USA, Sweden, France, Italy, Mexico, Denmark, Germany, Taiwan, Belgium, Argentina, Spain, Austria, Switzerland and Norway – impressive stuff right!

The hunt far and wide was something festival booker James Scarlett really wanted, as he explains “For the line-up this year I’ve really scoured the globe and we have acts coming to Fernhill Farm from 14 different countries. That really excites me! Of course, none of this matters unless the sounds they produce are amazing, so I would urge people to go out and find their new favorite band. Maybe some math-rock from Taiwan, Elephant Gym, something dark and heavy from Denmark, Mol and LLNN or if in doubt Belgium always seems to provide great bands, Cocaine Piss for instance.”

Taking a closer look at some of the names playing: synth-wave artist Carpenter Brut, whom draws influence from 80s TV shows and B-movies, will be making his ATG Festival debut. ArcTanGent are confident he’ll deliver some extraordinary visuals to compliment his captivating live show. Looking for a more visceral experience that goes beyond the normal description? Nordic Giants create an experience with bowed guitar, piano and thunderous drums that is both haunting and climactic.

Palm Reader never fail to provide an intense and somewhat thorny post-hardcore. Josh McKeown vocals resonate with a brutal power that is perfectly amalgamated through each track. Then there is, Conjurer, we’ll never over look Conjurer when they are playing, the Midlands four piece always deliver gold medal level heaviness.
