Pitchfork Music Festival Coming To Chicago This Weekend!

Don’t Forget!!  Pitchfork Music Festival Returns to Union Park this weekend!

In its 12th year Pitchfork Music Festival brings some amazing musicians to Chicago over the course of the three days.

With headliners LCD Soundsystem, A Tribe Called Quest, and Solange you don’t want to miss a single day.

You also won’t want to miss some of my personal favorites that I can’t wait to see. Madame Ghandi is going to be a treat to see kicking off the festival.

Thurston Moore will be bending our ears with his gorgeous guitar work.  Meanwhile Danny Brown will be spitting his heavy crazy rifting. On Saturday make sure to not miss – Cherry Glazerr, Francis and the Lights, PJ Harvey, and A Tribe Called Quest.  Sunday is still a toss up for me.  So many amazing acts that I can’t decide which ones I will be able to check out.

Don’t forget the #WearOrange Initiative.  Take a stand with the community and wear orange in supporting the struggle against gun violence.  Chicago has seen more than its share in shootings and we need to come together as one to put an end to it.
