Things are hotting up for Cotton Clouds as festival season approaches

It may seem like the festival season is ages away, but in just a matter of months, Saddleworth Cricket Club will become home to Cotton Clouds Festival for it’s third year, and the lineup is looking great.

This festival may be one of the newest in the UK, but it’s certainly gaining a reputation as one of the best, and the lineup this year proves that the organisers are not messing about. With acts such as The Wailers, Peter Hook and the Light, Reverend and The Makers, Tim Booth and Ash, alongside many others, from established artists, to the up and coming talent of Manchester and beyond.

This will be the second time the festival has ran over two days, and the popularity for this festival will keep on growing, so it won’t be long before this festival is made into a full weekend of fun. Alongside the incredible lineup, the organisers also have family friendly fun planned for the festival (which takes place 16-17th August) stretching from a circus to a rave just for kids. It’s no wonder that this festival has received high praise from the media, and was nominated for “Best Family Friendly Festival”

Not only is this festival packed with events, music and food, but it’s also one of the cheapest around, with tickets priced at £75.00 (plus booking fee) for the two days. Or if you want just a single day ticket, the Friday will cost a mere £33.00, and the Saturday costing a fraction more at £52.25 (both plus booking fee). VIP Packages are also available, as are children’s passes (Under 5’s are free).

Ones to watch (Upcoming artists performing at this festival)

This festival is for sure one of the best this year, and it’ll be great to see such wonderful talent in such a beautiful setting (on the border of the peak district)
