Five in Five With: Fink

in Interviews by

We recently had the pleasure of catching up with FINK! Currently on a huge European tour, and with 9 albums under the belt, where what Fin, Had to say…

What has been your biggest f@ck up on stage? Where was it, what song was it how was it received by fans? Fans don’t mind – lyrical slips, major chord malfunctions. Last night our stage manager had to repair my mic stand after it collapsed with a torch in his mouth…

You’re changing the band’s name to your favorite fruit + the reason you last took pain killers. Your new band name is…? Lime Implant

How can we collectively put an end to online ticket touting? Feel free to show your working out for extra points… Fuck knows – I imagine we’ll probably collectively delegate responsibility to a huge corporation – they usually get these things right…backed by a conglomerate of labels applauded by the governing bodies of our industry and splashed on the front page of Music Week looking excited…

What would your Music Super Power be and what other band would you use it on and why? It would be to return bands to the impulses and the musical direction of their early days – I’d use it on Coldplay

Your idols gonna give you the instrument that their famous for, who is it? What instrument? Why? BB king’s Black Gibson ES 345 – or one of them anyway – because his economy is frankly shocking…
