The Irish Trio Delivered One Hell Of A Show
WhenYoung have been releasing music for a couple of years now, and their following is slowly growing, and as their fan base grows, their shows get better and better. The atmosphere last night was one of the best I have witnessed in a small venue.
The set included material which has been with the band for a while, alongside newer material, which included their newest single ‘Never Let Go’, a song based around the personal struggles which the band have been faced with over the past few years. The set also included ‘The Others’, a song which they wrote for those affected by the Grenfell Tragedy, and it’s the only song in the set where the energy levels fell, and the whole gig felt a lot more intimate from that point on.
WhenYoung have a lot going for them, their music is easy to listen to, their style is unique and their gigs are something special. They are definitely ones to watch across the next few years, and i’m looking forward to watching the band grow into their full potential. Especially considering the band have not long finished recording their debut album, which is set to be released this year.
