The Coral Distance Inbetween

So, The Coral are back after a five-year break with their eighth studio album which was released March 4th. The Liverpudlian, indie rock band released their first single, “Chasing the Tail of a Dream,” on December 26, 2015. It’s The Corals’s first of original material since 2010 release ‘Butterfly House’ and the band have dedicated their work to the late Alan Wills – the bands early mentor and Deltasonic label boss who sadly passed away in 2014.

The band recorded the album at Liverpool’s Parr Street Studios with co-producer Richard Turvey in 2015.

UK tour-dates are as follows:

Newcastle Riverside (March 4)
Glasgow O2 ABC (March 5)
Leeds Brudenell Social Club (March 7)
Nottingham Rescue Rooms (March 8)
Birmingham O2 Institute2 (March 10)
Sheffield Leadmill (March 11)
Manchester Albert Hall (March 12)
Oxford O2 Academy 2 (March 15)
London O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire (March 16)
Liverpool, Sound City (May 29)

The Coral have taken a different turn with Distance Inbetween and in our view a cracking turn at that – sounding fresh, revitalised and very polished. Out of the tracks listed below most have an immediate impact, some will grow however tracks such as Holy Revelation, White Bird and Million Eyes will blow the socks off any Coral fan.
