The Roasts are back after their Debut EP ‘A Night Of Fright Is No Delight’
New single by Manchester band, The Roasts
The Roasts are back after their successful debut EP released earlier in the year with new single ‘Havana’. A hybrid of 80’s pop, and the current indie scene, this single is a great follow-up to their EP ‘A Night Of Fright Is No Delight’, which went down a treat with the fans, and gained the band plenty of new support.
The ever so slightly distorted guitar riff gives this single that Stone Roses vibe that will not only be popular with the teens, but also would bring back memories of the 80’s for the parents who might hear their kids listening to this great single. This is the perfect indie hit, and a real crowd pleaser. Not only are the guitars reminiscent of indie pop, but the lyrics and the vocals are the icing on the cake, with a hint of Ian Brown and Liam Gallagher, I can really see this single being a big hit for this Manchester band, and maybe even the start of something big for this band.
This song could easily be the song of the summer for 2017, really catchy, and would be perfect at a festival. If, and when, this band make it big, I feel this song is always gonna be the one the fans will want to hear, as it is gonna be the song that gets them a lot of fans.
Despite this band being relatively new on the scene, the support for them is massive. With most of their gigs selling out, and their Soundcloud page gaining more followers daily, this band can only get better, and are showing no signs of stopping any time soon. They deserve every success, which I am sure they are going to get. I feel it is only a matter of time before this band are appearing at festivals, and supporting the bands that have already made it.
Don’t forget the name, and be sure to check them out on Soundcloud, Facebook and Youtube.
