Stillia’s second single ‘4am’ is taken from their forthcoming album ‘From Ground To Light’ and bestowed the title of Flick of the Finger’s Record of the Week.
In a nutshell the track is about turning up drunk on your lover’s doorstep at 4am (if you somehow manage to stay out that late).
It’s not a particularly clever lyric, but it’s potentially relatable to some listeners, but it’s the beauty and tranquillity of the music that really draws you in. It has a euphoric ambience to it from start to finish and is a real foot-stomper, guaranteed to get crowds invested and singing along. The band should be proud of this release, and their upcoming album will be one to take note of.
The four-piece will be supporting the mighty Ocean Colour Scene next month as they travel to Dubai, Australia and New Zealand and with their high calibre of musicianship they are bound to acquire new fans during this period.
