“The Manchester band have near insatiable energy, a knack for melody that comes allied to an engaging, unhinged live show” Clash

Dantevilles have been making waves in Manchester and beyond with their addictively unique Soul Pop sound and have received support from John Kennedy on Radio X and BBC Introducing Manchester Produced by Joe Cross (Hurts, Courteeners), their self-titled debut EP features five tracks, including brand new song Perfect Place. With its all-encompassing melodic beat, Perfect Place takes the listener full circle with the idea of risk, hinting to the bands own journey in breaking boundaries with their own musical style. The EP will be released on limited edition white vinyl, with artwork by Sophie Moates, and the full tracklisting is as follows:

Blackjack
It Might Be Tomorrow
The Fighter
Daydreamer
Perfect Place

The band say; “Our eponymous EP ‘Dantevilles’ reflects an open gate for the listener to indulge into our world. We write these songs in our private room of music making, always coming out in dire need to perform them to the public and let them in. ‘Dantevilles’ is an EP full of character and adventure that should be fully explored.”

Dantevilles are a new breed of Manchester band; a fourpiece brimming with musical creativity and a gang full of personality with songs that are dripping with promise, they are the sound of a New North. Their inspired yet modern take on alternative pop is full of soul, melodic guitars and standout duel vocals, which creates music that is fresh, polished and completely memorable.

Following headline shows and festival performances at the likes of Kendal Calling on the Main Stage last year, Dantevilles recently played a sold out Manchester headline show along with supporting Sea Girls. This month they will perform at festivals in Brighton and Liverpool and they have announced a June EP launch show at Manchester’s Soup Kitchen, with tickets available from Dice. Full live dates are as follows:

May:
Sat 19th Brighton The Alternative Escape
