Can Shader manage to capture the magic again with their fourth single?
After a trilogy of behemoth singles that set the bar high, the band continue that successful trend with the release of There Was A Time. The song flows with upbeat energy which fills you with a summery vibe that makes you want to get up and savour the moment as if it was your last.
From the opening thumping drums to the end fade-out, it’s a glorious piece of euphoric music that encapsulates everything good that the band stand for and want to accomplish with their sound. Stu Whiston’s impressive voice has an astonishingly commercial quality to it as it soars along, rich and expressive. The four-piece have proved yet again that they are a force to reckoned with, and will hopefully aspire to greater things before too long. Full marks.
