Graveyard, Copenhell 2018

A time machine just landed on the old shipyard Copenhell and out came 4 Swedish guys, looking like something taken from the late 60´s They really sound and look like they just stepped out of a time machine. The hippie styling and the mustaches were fancy. But is it good enough for the metal packed Copenhell 2018? Or will it just be a misplaced kick in the balls? The authenticity… Keep Reading

REVIEW: Isle of White Festival, 2018 – The Golden Anniversary!!

Unprecedented hot weather meant that Isle of Wight truly turned Golden in celebration of its 50th Anniversary. Without a Glastonbury this year #IOW50 was ‘the’ event to be at in 2018 and could seriously make Glasto returners think again next year. I love that moment in the build-up to the Isle of Wight festival when you get on the ferry and leave the mainland behind, it feels like you are… Keep Reading

Camden Rocks Kicks Arse

Saturday: Camden Rocks is London’s premier rock festival in London’s premier rock location. On Friday I photographed Blossoms, a band so vanilla that prolonged exposure carries risk of poisoning. Quite why yesterday’s All Points East Festival audience of young people were going crazy over a band whose most exciting crowd interaction was: “Hello, we’re Blossoms from Stockport” was, and is, beyond me. Today however, I’m at Camden Rocks – over… Keep Reading

Northern Invasion Festival, Somerset Wisconsin

After the dust settles, all we are left with is our memories. It’s been almost two weeks since Northern Invasion closed out its 4th year. It was my first year in attendance and it has taken me awhile to really formulate into words what was such a great experience. I went into this weekend with only knowing a handful of the artists. I checked out everyone ahead of time and… Keep Reading

Eaux Claires Festival Goes Against The Grain

This years Eaux Claires Festival, in Eau Claire Wisconsin, will boldly test how much of a festival fan you truly are. This summer on July 6th and 7th, Eaux Claires will hold their 4th annual music festival on Foster Farms in North-Western Wisconsin.   The only catch is that this year they are opting out of the big-overly dramatic lineup announcement and will keep it a secret until attendees show… Keep Reading

Headlining Saturday night is the prog/heavy metal syndicate Avenged Sevenfold.  Closing out the night with Avenged… Keep Reading

Pitchfork Music Fest Day 3, Union Park, Chicago

Day 3 at Pitchfork Music Fest was one for the books! In typical fashion I arrived right before the opening act came on.   I wasn’t sure if Sunday’s lineup could live up to Saturday, but a few acts had caught my eye and I was excited for those.  I arrived at the photo pit for Kilo Kish.  I went through and checked out all of the artists prior to… Keep Reading

Pitchfork Music Fest Day 2, Union Park, Chicago

Join me!… as I reminisce on the second day of Pitchfork Music Festival The Sun was in full swing, and it made it hot and sweaty for all in attendance on Saturday. Two iconic heavyweights of popular music close out BluesFest 2016 in London’s docklands.
