We had a chat with Rich Walker…
What has been your biggest [email protected] up on stage? Where was it, what song was it how was it received by fans? I wouldn’t say it was a [email protected] up but I can remember we were playing a venue called the plug in Sheffield back in the day and about halfway through the set we were playing one of our old songs and about a minute in my drum seat broke sending me flying backwards. I can remember picking myself up and seeing all the crowd and the rest of the band howling with laughter. It took a while to live that one down.
You’re changing the band’s name to your favourite fruit + the reason you last took pain killers. Your new band name is… ? Banana Man Flu
How can we collectively put an end to online ticket touting? Feel free to show your working out for extra points… They should do what the Glastonbury festival does by putting photos on the tickets of the people that buy them. You can only buy them after uploading photos and giving proof of address.
What would your Music Super Power be and what other band would you use it on and why? It would be the power to render a band silent. So, for those times you enter a venue and it sounds like someone is strangling a cat all can be solved. I’m not going to say which bands though.
Your idols gonna give you the instrument that their famous for, Who is it? What Instrument? Why? It would have to be John Bonham’s acrylic drum kit. They just sounded huge and looked amazing at the same time. You could just hear the drums on their own and know instantly where they were from.
