Following the digital release of their debut album Thoughts of Others in April, Leeds four-piece SKULL are set to officially release the double transparent orange vinyl version on 13 July 2018 via Shove It Up Your Cult Records in a limited pressing of just 300 copies.

To precede the vinyl release, the band have also unveiled the video for their new single, Sleazy, taken from the album. Watch Video Below…

FOTF Caught up with the lads for our famous Five in Five and this is what was said…

Q1: What has been your biggest f*ck up onstage?

Aaron: Ripping my Jeans down the centre of my trousers.
Ben: I don’t f*ck up … I just make lots of noise until I find the right chords.
Jonny: I forgot to turn the tuner off and was silent for the intro of our song Mother. Ben stomped on my tuner at the start of the next bar.
Mark: Apart from breaking sticks, I forgot to come in at the right time and the guys played an extra bar. People are either REALLY polite, or didn’t notice …

Q2: You’re changing the band’s name to your favourite fruit + the reason you last took painkillers; your new band name is?

Aaron: Strawberry People
Ben: Banana Crumbling Spine
Jonny: Grapefruit Groin
Mark: Pear Chest Pain

Q3: What’s your favourite 90’s album?

Aaron: Limp Bizkit – Significant Other
Ben: Pearl Jam – No Code
Jonny: Prodigy – Jilted Generation [first CD I bought]
Mark: The Seahorses – The Seahorses

Q4: What would your music Super Power be and which other bands would you use it on and why?

Aaron: Erm, instantly gather the skills of all the band members from Rush
Ben: The power to revive deceased front men … Queen, Soundgarden, Nirvana, The Doors etc
Jonny: The power to implant a plethora of eclectic, original and inspiring songs and artists into the minds of those who can’t/don’t write and have generics writing for them …
Mark: The power to mute. Ed Sheeran is a to$$er

Q5: Jam, Record or Tour: Who would you jam with; who would you record with; and who would you go on tour with and why?

Aaron: Jam Black Sabbath
Record: Pink Floyd
Tour: AC/DC

Ben: Jam Pearl Jam. The clue’s in the name
Record: Brian May. The guy’s a perfectionist
Tour: With the original Queen line up; epic, epic shows

Jonny: Jam Tommi Iommi
Record: John Paul Jones; one of the best session musicians out there with a back catalogue I could only dream of
Tour: King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard. I’d love to see how those dudes work and hang out

Mark: Jam Led Zeppelin, sick as f*ck
Record: Bruce, sick as f*ck
Tour: Led Zeppelin, due to the fact it will f*cking ace and the night will not be remembered by any of the band…
