‘Seventeen Going Under’ Will Release In October!
The title track is available for streaming now, along with the music video!
Sam Fender has made an incredible name for himself over the last few years. His debut album, which was released two years ago, has had incredible critical acclaim, and his music is everywhere you turn. From festivals to national radio airplay, and everywhere in between, Sam Fender has been the hot topic of Indie music for a while now. Now it’s time for him to follow up ‘Hypersonic Missiles’, and he’s doing it in the form of ‘Seventeen Going Under’, which is the title of his upcoming second album.
Judging by the title track, which has already been released on streaming services, Sam has stuck to his roots, and the second album will be riding the airwaves just as much as his debut has been. The album is said to be his way of looking back to his youth, what he did right, what he did wrong, and something which a lot of people will be able to relate to. His debut album was much the same, the lyrics were relatable, they were truthful and honest, and it went down excellently with fans and critics, so why change a winning formula.
The new album will be released via Polydor Records on 8th October 2021, and is available for pre-order now. Speaking on the album, Sam says: “This album is a coming of age story. It’s about growing up. It’s a celebration of life after hardship, and it’s a celebration of surviving.” To pre-order the album head here!
