The Watford 4 piece burst onto the scene in Sept 2012 with a run of powerful and energetic live shows. Comparisons were immediately made to The Jam and The Clash, and while The Spitfires boast a similar energy to punk’s trailblazers, the style is all their own.
Debut 7” single ‘Stand Down’ sold out in just 2 days, followed in August 2015 by the 13-track debut album ‘Response’, which reached number 6 in both the Indie & Vinyl Albums top 40 charts.

In the past 12 months the band have supported Paul Weller, The Specials and The Ordinary Boys. They’re currently in the studio working on their second LP and head back out on the road across the UK and Europe in early 2016. Dates below.
