Embrace, who are currently working on their seventh studio album for release in 2017, take a break from recording to play a short run of special Christmas shows in December.

Talking about the run of dates, singer Danny McNamara said, “We’d been so busy working on our new album, then playing The Secret Festival in September made us hungry to get out there and play live again.

We’re just playing a few selected shows, a kind of Christmas surprise for the people who love the band. And if people want to come dressed up and make the gigs a great big party, then please do so”.

The last Embrace album, the eponymous sixth album from the Yorkshire band, was a top 5 chart hit in 2014.

Embrace have scored three number one albums in their career to date, selling over 2.5 million albums in the UK alone.

Tickets for all dates go on sale this Friday 30th September at 9:00am from the usual outlets.
