It’s 10 years since the recording of Little Comets’ spectacular debut album ‘In Search of Elusive Little Comets’ and to celebrate the anniversary, the Tyneside trio are releasing a brand new live version which will be exclusively available on vinyl for the very first time.

Little Comets spent a week at Liverpool’s Motor Museum Studio putting down the tracks and lead singer, Rob Coles, said, “It was a great experience re-recording the songs that helped us become the band we are today. It also brought back lots of fantastic memories of when we started out, playing house parties, doing gigs on public transport and by crashing university lectures. We’ve met so many lovely people on the way and remembering them really made it a very emotional experience.”

Housed in a signed, double-gated sleeve, each limited edition record will feature lots of previously unseen photos, a lyric booklet and other snippets from the past. Bass player, Matt Hall said, “Over the years, a lot of people have asked us for a vinyl copy of our first album but our old label wouldn’t get any pressed so we decided to do it ourselves. Our guitarist, Mickey Coles, did all the producing, mixing and mastering and we think he’s come up with something that sounds really fresh without compromising the excitement of the original recordings”.

The ‘In Search of Elusive Little Comets’ vinyl goes on re-sale on 1stOctober and can be ordered from:
