Australia’s outsider rock five-piece BAD // DREEMS have revealed the video for Sonny, the third single to be taken from their recently released Doomsday Ballet album and announced a headline UK tour for March 2020.

BAD // DREEMS released DOOMSDAY BALLET (stream here) in October 2019 via BMG / Farmer and The Owl to enormous critical praise, including an Australian Music Prize nomination, constant support from KEXP Radio in the USA, countless plays at college radio stations, a full album feature on triple j Radio in Australia and, as if this wasn’t enough, a sold out Australian album tour.

SONNY follows two blistering singles, DOUBLE DREAMING and MORNING RAIN, already taken from the album. With its thick, lush guitar textures, SONNY was, explains guitarist Alex Cameron, “Originally a jangling ballad about the passing of time, loss and longing. In the studio, though, it took on a rough and tumble form to include a rambunctious guitar solo”. The video for the single was filmed and edited edited by Tom Stevens.

Following their December 2019 UK tour with fellow Australian miscreants THE CHATS, the band returned home to round off a massive year with performances at Best Night Ever on the Gold Coast and the National Falls Festival run, and will return to the UK for a headline tour.
