Stomping out from Sheffield’s industrial jungle, FloodHounds’ rabble-rousing live shows, infused with startlingly jagged guitars, unexpected distorted harmonica side-swipes and uplifting lyrical ear candy, deliver instantly catchy, powerful tunes.
The last year saw the band play Isle Of Wight Festival, Liverpool SoundCity, shows all up and down the UK, Paris as well as sharing stages with the likes of PINS, Strange Bones, The Blinders and Saint Agnes.
Today, FloodHounds announce new single ‘Something Primeval’. A stomping, riff heavy banger, with a clear message of coming together.
Something Primeval’ bursts into life with a striking assault of bass and drums, sandwiched between deep chugging rhythmic guitars. A dark mysterious verse section follows before a cutting into a fuzz driven, swaggering anthemic chorus that has been igniting crowds into passionate choirs at gigs across the UK.
The track was produced by Thomas Mitchener, occasional member of Frank Carter & The Rattlesnakes, as well as being on producing duties for Kid Kapichi, BlackWaters and Strange Bones.
