Catfish and The Bottlemen and Ian Brown Set To Headline Neighbourhood Weekender 2020.

Tickets go on sale at 9.30 am Friday 22nd November 2019. 

Ian Brown will take to the stage on the Saturday, with Catfish and The Bottlemen finishing the weekend off on the Sunday (23rd and 24th May respectively)

A hometown return for Ian Brown will mark almost a decade since his last solo performance, and the weekend falls on the 4th anniversary of The Stone Roses epic run of Etihad Stadium gigs. His solo album, ‘Ripples’ came out earlier in the year, to extreme critical acclaim.

Headlining day two, Catfish and The Bottlemen will bring their stadium-filling alt-rock masterpieces to Warrington’s Victoria Park. This appearance will be a perfect follow on after a hectic year of sell out arena shows, global festival appearances, and the release of their third album ‘The Balance’.

Filling out the rest of the lineup, live music heavyweights, Sam Fender, Paul Heaton & Jacqui Abbott, Shed Seven, Miles Kane, The Coral and Tom Walker will take to the stage alongside an extensive host of indie heavyweights, including the likes of; Sundara Karma, Reverend + The Makers and Pale Waves.

Following their exceptional performances at this years Neighbourhood Festival in Manchester; The Sherlocks, The Magic Gang, and The Big Moon are also heading for the fields of Warrington next year. Meanwhile, alt-pop favourites Sea Girls, Fickle Friends and The Orielles are raring to go in 2020 and are bounding to get you dancing at Victoria Park.

Irish rockers The Murder Capital are going to bring an intense set of hard-hitting post-punk, whilst fellow countrymen Inhaler will provide a summery helping of anthemic rock. Elsewhere, Sports Team, The Lathums and Working Men’s Club offer something different, with their varying brands of alternative rock seeing them all breakthrough in 2019. Rounded off by other exciting, local, newcomers, including Liverpudlians Red Rum Club and The Mysterines, and Mancunian Phoebe Green, Neighbourhood Weekender is once again the place to find the best new indie acts.
Neighbourhood Weekender kicks off the summer, bringing together an incredible weekend of live music across three stages, from the biggest acts to the best breaking new bands, alongside a hub of local concessions, and a unique community feel.
