Festival Season Is Fast Approaching!
We are starting to look ahead at what’s happening around festivals this year!
The past 18 months or so have been far from ordinary, but now, with the role out of vaccines, restrictions are being lifted and a sense of normality is slowing coming back to the world, and the music industry in particular. With that, festival season looks to be going ahead, and there are some fantastic festivals happening across the country!
One of the festivals we are looking forward to the most, is Neighbourhood Weekender. It takes place at Victoria Park in Warrington, and this year will happen for THREE DAYS, from 3rd-5th September 2021. In previous years, this has been a two day festival, but with rising popularity and after a year out due to the pandemic, we now get one extra day of fantastic music! The Friday is a bit of a taster of what’s to come over the weekend, and only has a handful of acts performing, but this doesn’t mean they are lesser acts by any means, with Gerry Cinnamon, Circa Waves, Jade Bird and Orla Gartland all taking to the stage on the Friday!
Saturday and Sunday are your usual festival days, packed to the hilt with music from early in the morning to late at night! Headliners include James, and Catfish and The Bottlemen, with plenty of other acts taking to the festival stage too, including Sam Fender, The Wombats, The Lathums, Reverend & The Makers, and The Snuts to name just a few of the fantastic acts on display across the weekend.
No doubt the music will be teamed up with some incredible food, drink and one hell of an atmosphere as gig goers take back to the festival site for the first time since 2019! Limited tickets are still available, so be sure to grab yours now and make sure you don’t miss out on a weekend of great music!
The festival will comply with any relevant government guidelines, which are being set out from 21st June as part of the roadmap out of lockdown.
