Denmark’s Black Oak County, who we have a more than close bond to, have announced that they are supporting The Dead Daisies (US) on June 8 in Amager Bio in Copenhagen DK.

Black Oak County impressed us with their big-balls hard rock, both when we reviewed their hard hitting debut album (selftitled), and their release show in Esbjerg. This support slot is fully deserved by BOC, and a good choice by The Dead Daisies.

Dead Daisies (US) is inspired by early 70-80’s rock, and being seasoned musicians with a pulsating live show, fans in Denmark is in for a treat.
The band’s members are seasoned rockers: Guitarist Doug Aldrich has played with Whitesnake and Dio, singer John Corabi (Mötley Crüe and The Scream), bassist Marco Mendoza (Thin Lizzy, Whitesnake), drummer Brian Tichy (Ozzy Osbourne, Foreigner) and guitarist David Lowy (Red Phoenix, Mink.)

Their EP “Man Overboard” from 2013 featured Slash on guitars on the track “Lock N’ Load”, and since then The Dead Daisies has released no less than three albums: “The Dead Daisies” (2013), “Revolucion” (2015) and “Make Some Noise” (2016).

The Dead Daisies has a declared mission: To bring rock back in an age, where rock has been declared dead several times. “Make Some Noise” is the latest release, and is described by the band as, “…twelve songs packed full of exciting rock & roll hooks and riff. It’s loud, it’s energetic, it’s upliftigt and most importantly it’s real”
After this release, the band toured all summer of 2016, which included a show at the biggest rock & metal festival in the world, Wacken Open Air in Germany.

Rock’n’roll magic happens on the stage, and The Dead Daisies live for playing live, where they can be in the moment, and feel the energy and connection with their audience. We can totally back that one up! So they will be touring again in 2017, and will visit both South America, Europe and Asia. This summer it’s Copenhagen DK, and this is gonna be HUGE!
