Following four sold out nights, with a fifth to take place on Friday 12 October
Richard Watson, promoter of the 360 Club at Leeds Lending Room, and Alan Raw, presenter of BBC Introducing West Yorkshire and BBC Introducing Humberside, are proud to announce the line-up for the sixth in their series of special #360RAW events.
Taking place on Friday 30 November – and subtitled #360RAW6 – the event will feature a further three of the region’s finest and most exciting emerging acts: WUZI, VELVIT and JAGGED MOON, all of whom this time hail from Leeds.

As with previous #360RAW events, the night will see Alan Raw DJ before and between the live sets, playing new music of all styles from local artists. Anyone can turn up and meet the face behind BBC Introducing and are encouraged to bring demos which he may well play on the night, or pass onto the producers for consideration on his shows. The ethos of #360RAW is purely about supporting emerging acts, a passion that both Richard and Alan share and one that sees them freely offer musicians their time, their help and their advice without any hidden agenda.
“… Leeds-based four-piece WUZI might be a new name on the scene, but they’re already making waves wherever they go; combining the intensity of Radiohead with effects-laden guitars and occasional bursts of noise, they’re definitely ones to watch out for …” DROWNED IN SOUND
WUZI burst into life in 2016, born from a shared enthusiasm for relentlessly fuzzed-out guitar riffs with melancholic ambience and catchy hooks, spending that year obsessively playing live around the country, and were the headline band at the Indie Week Festival in Montreal, where they released their first single Atomis. The following year saw memorable shows at Live at Leeds and Liverpool Sound City, the release of their second single DD and their debut Bozo Material EP, recorded by Matt Peel and mixed by Al Groves of Bring Me the Horizon fame. Compromised Host, a tumultuous cacophony of biting guitars, driving bass and abrasive vocals, was released prior to their appearances at this year’s Reading and Leeds Festivals, and is the first track to be taken from their forthcoming Severed Head EP.

“… An all-round musical powerhouse; their performance is a high-powered frenzy of excitement that I never wanted to end …” FICTION IS NOT IMAGINATION
VELVIT are a product of their shared love for hard-hitting rock and a compulsive need to rave. The four of them met at Leeds College of Music and, having decided there was no other option than forming a band, have been playing music together ever since, inspired by alternative rock, 90s raves, the vast Leeds underground dance scene and rock legends such as Pink Floyd and Audioslave. They released their debut single, Dig, earlier this year, which was produced by David Watts [renowned for his work with Kaiser Chiefs, The Fall and Allusondrugs] and which demonstrated their unique blend of mosh and dance. The launch night for the single at Leeds Headrow House was completely sold out.

“… Combining old school summery vibes with grungey effects to produce something bordering on the religiously unique …” THE GRYPHON
JAGGED MOON are an exciting new band based in Leeds, a new project formed by respected former members of critically acclaimed bands in West Yorkshire. They’ve been locked away writing and recording in secret, preparing to launch onto the scene, and are doing so with a bang, as this will be their first live offering. They’re not given to superfluous words – their music will speak for them, we can promise you that – which is why Alan Raw and 360 Club invited them to join them for #360RAW6. Be prepared to hear something new and fresh.
