Cancer Bats have announced a run of summer shows in the UK this coming August and we are crazy excited.

Choosing to forgo the traditional lead ups and teaser singles, Cancer Bats, with no forewarning, released their latest studio album The Spark That Moves on April 20, 2018. A critic and fan favourite, the album hit #4 on the iTunes Rock chart, was featured on numerous Best of 2018 lists and has been streamed over 1.9 million times on Spotify.

Combining all of the elements from their last 5 releases, the 11 tracks that make up the album blend together the bands most melodic moments with their most aggressive, becoming a savage sprint of hardcore, punk, sludge, and metal that leaves the listener craving more. Well, want more live dates and we are finally getting that with this Cancer Bats UK Tour starting August 4 2019.

We are not the only ones excited, as Cancer Bats lead singer Liam Cormier shares “IT’S SUMMER FESTIVAL SEASON !!!! WE’RE EXCITED TO PLAY SOME BIG OL’ BANGERS BUUUUT here’s the thing, we really only book these fests to give you all an excuse to RAGE ALL OUR FAVOURITE SMALL TOWNS!!! THESE SHOWS ARE GONNA BE NUUUTS!
