Ed Cosens Will Perform At The Picture House

The one-night only show will take place 19th November 2021!

You may be familiar with Ed Cosens as the guitarist of Reverend and The Makers, but now he is working on his solo project, and has announced a one-night performance in his hometown of Sheffield, at The Abbeydale Picture House. The performance will take place on 19th November this year, and tickets can be purchased via this link!

Ed’s debut album, ‘Fortunes Favour’ was released in April of this year, and the performance in Sheffield will be the first time he has performed the album live. His time with Reverend and The Makers has led to him having a rich history in music, performing shows and festivals across the world, and releasing countless hit tracks and albums. Many have previously overlooked the input the Ed had to the band, and now his debut solo album is out there, they’re paying a bit more attention to the skills Ed Cosens has.

Not only has Cosens spent time with Reverend, but he was a key part in the growth of the Sheffield music scene in the early 2000’s, having been in a band with both Alex Turner and Matt Helders who went on to form Arctic Monkeys. The debut album shows hints of those early years, with tremolo ridden riffs, string soaked melodies, and mournful tones paired with poetic reflections on life.
