The Tour Wraps Up In Manchester
Proceedings are kicked off in Bristol on 2nd May 2022.
IDER have announced that they will perform across the UK in May 2022, performing 6 dates in total. The tour is in support of their incredible second album.
Their second album ,‘shame’ was released to critical-acclaim earlier this year, and they will finally get to perform the tracks live whilst on this freshly announced tour. It followed on from their 2019 debut LP, ‘Emotional Education’ which was released via Glassnote. The debut put the band on the radar of the likes of; The Guardian, The Sunday Times. The Observer. Their second album was released away from the big record companies, and away from Glassnote, ultimately giving the band more freedom.
Across the eight tracks of ‘Shame’, the duo (made up of Megan Markwickand Lily Somerville) are not only the performers, but the producers, directors and collaborators with one another. Freed from the creative and spiritual confines of a label, the duo’s identity is stronger than ever. They are Megan and Lily again; two friends with nothing but an abundance of talent and a telepathic read on the other’s musicality.
