The Duo Are Playing 24 Dates Across The UK
The tour started on September 2nd, and will run until 10th October.
Whilst Cave And Ellis have been touring together as part of Nick Cave and The Bad Seeds for a number of years now, this current tour is their first as a duo. The tour is in support of their new album, ‘Carnage’ which is the first entire album of tracks the pair have released together. They first crossed paths in 1993, when Ellis played violin on several songs for the Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds album, Let Love In, before going on to join the band as a full-time member. The two have also recorded in Grinderman, formed in 2006, and have worked together on numerous film and TV scores.
For the dates, Cave and Ellis will be joined on stage by musician Johnny Hostile and backing singers Wendi Rose, T Jae Cole and Janet Ramus.
On 23rd September, the band will perform at Sheffield’s City Hall, for this gig we have 5 pairs of tickets to giveaway. We’ll be putting out a competition on our Facebook page tonight at 19.30, so keep an eye out for your chance to bag some tickets for Nick Cave!
