The 28 tour sees them take to every major city in UK and Europe
First they top the UK charts with their new album, and now they announce a huge tour, it’s been an incredible few weeks for Slipknot fans
Their new album, ‘We Are Not Your Kind’, was released on the 9th August, and went straight to number 1, knocking Ed Sheeran’s latest project off the top spot after spending four weeks up there. It also meant that Slipknot gained their first number one album in 18 years, and only the 5th heavy metal album to reach number one in the past decade, with the other four being Iron Maiden’s, ‘The Final Frontier’ and ‘The Book Of Souls’, Avenged Sevenfold’s ‘Hail To The King’ and Black Sabbath’s ’13’.
The success of this album only means one thing for these 2020 tour dates, they are going to be truly amazing. Slipknot never fail to put on a show, and I can happily say that these upcoming dates are going to follow suit. Not only will Slipknot put on an incredible show, but their chosen support, Behemoth, will be the perfect way to warm up the crowd before the mask-clad metal gods take to the stage on their lengthy tour.
The UK dates run from January 14th through to January 25th, kicking off at Dublin’s 3Arena, before ending at London’s O2 Arena. The Europe leg then kicks off in Amsterdam on 28th January, ending in Helsinki on 24th September. Here’s a full list of the UK dates:
