Cornish Rockers, Haunt The Woods, share video for new single ‘Amethyst’

An intimate acoustic rock piece, with a beautiful video to match

Blending sounds from alternative, prog, folk and pop and channelling influences from the likes of Pink Floyd, Muse, Fleet Foxes and Bon Iver, Haunt The Woods have crafted a distinctive sound, glistening with ambient swells and underpinned by expressive rhythms and masterly songwriting.

The choral vocals, the echoey guitar and simple yet punchy drums create a masterpiece of music, perfect for listening to whilst you relax, but at the same time there is an undertone of mild aggression which just keeps you on your toes and makes you feel like you want to go out and do something.

This single is the latest in a run of pretty successful music, their previous EP’s, ‘The Line’ and ‘Circle’ have resulted in performances at Glastonbury, Boardmasters and Port Elliot, as well as numerous sell-out bi-monthly residencies at the Plymouth Barbican Theatre, and a support slot with KT Tunstall.

The band are due to perform a headline show at London’s Old Blue Last on 10th September, tickets for which are available here.
