Manchester trio The Hara have grafted hard to perfect their live sound through playing hundreds of gigs across the country and living in the back of their van.
Following We Are the Movement EP released earlier this year their new EP, titled Play Dead, continues to provide daring new tracks from the trio.
Play Dead is charged with a handful of gripping tracks that fearlessly come together. Overcoming sonic boundaries the entire EP is packed with the bold production: something becoming strongly synonymous with the band. The Hara refuses to limit themselves to genres and sounds and this new record is set to be another redefining moment of what it means to be a new alternative rock band in modern times.
“This whole EP was written for the festival stages. Massive stage intro song, mosh pit inspiring riffs, Anthemic chorus melodies & just moments we could completely lose our sh*t and win over new crowds with our musicianship & stage presence.” explain The Hara.
This summer would have seen the band play to over 250k fans, including a 22-date UK tour plus confirmed festival slots at Download and Reading & Leeds. However, as with so much, the current pandemic laid those plans out. Looking forward to 2021 The Hara are confirmed to hit the stage at these festivals in 2021.
