A Debut Single Which Shows Signs Of A Bright Future

He’s performed at IOW before even releasing his debut single

Hailing from Portsmouth, Harvey Jay Dodgson is already making waves to create a bright future for himself. As if being playlisted by BT Sport isn’t enough, Harvey also got to perform at this years Isle of Wight Festival, thanks to This Feeling.

Today, Harvey has released his debut single. Titled ‘Caroline’, Harvey is wearing his influences on his sleeve straight from the off, and it’s clear he has the ability to take his music and create an incredible career for himself. With hints of The Black Keys and Sam Fender, there’s also Harvey’s own attitude and persona laid out within this debut single. There’s a raw energy to it, the type that you can only put in a track if you have the energy within yourself, it’s not something you can be influenced to put in.

Harvey has also announced a London show to mark the debut release and showcase the new material live. Booked for the inaugural Undercurrent night at The Waiting Room in Stoke Newington on 20th October he’ll be joining fellow South Coast band on the rise, FLOWVERS.

Finding himself in good company for a hometown support slot, Harvey has also been announced to support The Snuts whilst touring their Number 1 debut album at the Wedgewood Room on 16th November.
