The EP is their first release since their latest studio album

The Four Track Acoustic EP Was Released Just Before They Kicked Off Their Current UK Tour

James made a huge name for themselves during the 90s, and ever since then have continuously released incredible albums, the latest album ‘All The Colours Of You’ was released earlier this year, and the band are currently on tour supporting the album. Just before they embarked on this current Arena tour, James released a four track EP, ‘The Campfire EP’, and within the four tracks, everything which makes James so great is highlighted.

The soft yet distinct vocals of Tim Booth, matched with layers of strings, acoustic guitars and also some punchy drum rhythms all come together throughout the four tracks to make the EP something truly special. The EP is opened by ‘Miss America’ and followed by two more tracks taken from their latest album, which are ‘Recover’ and ‘Magic Bus’. The EP is then wrapped up with a stunning acoustic rendition of one of their 1999 hits, ‘Just Like Fred Astaire’ which originally featured on their album ‘Millionaires’

James are currently coming towards the end of their UK arena tour, with dates at Manchester and Glasgow coming over the weekend to wrap up what has been a stunning tour for the band, who have been supported by fellow 90’s indie heavyweights Happy Mondays for the duration of the tour, a pairing which is sure to go down well in their hometown of Manchester on Friday night (4th December).

The EP is a limited edition release, available only via the band’s website, and at merch stands at their gigs. The EP will come with a QR code to access accompanying videos for each track.
